Tinted rearlight from 'wrong hand driven' car

Since the position of the reversing light and the rear fog light depends on which side the steering wheel is, can the rearlights be 'modified' by installing the other rear light from a car that has steering on the 'wrong' side. As you can see on the photos below, in a LHD (Left hand driven) car the reversing light is on the right. I bought a right hand lamp from a RHD car since it doesn't have the white reversing light and as a result, I had only yellow and red lights in the rear and got rid of the stupid looking white part on the other side. The yellow sections (flashers) were then tinted and the result of that can be seen on these photos. Quite cool, eh ,-) YeahYeah I know, I know, it's not very usefull not to have a reversing light but I still think it's better this way :-)

Hella and InPro provide two kinds of 'bolt-on' special rear lights as shown below. Those all-dark InPro's would've looked hyper in my black car, but the price was too much for me compared to the effect/price of my home-made. Only thing special in these lights made by Hella is the tinted section on center, the reversing light still exists and the difference in the looks isn't worth the price, imho.
